Reflections of Lake Clark

October’s image was taken in the Lake Clark National Park & Preserve in Alaska.  It’s about 150 miles southwest of Anchorage, on the north end of the Alaska Peninsula in south-central Alaska.  Nearby are the Alaska and Aleutian mountain ranges, which are an amazing, jagged array of mountains and glaciers that include two active volcanoes, Mt.
